FROM SMALL WORKSHOP TO GLOBAL PLAYER
Established in 1991 and recognized for many years now as an international leader in innovative Aviation GSE manufacturing & Material Handling Equipment, this is Nandan GSE’s success story in a nutshell. The company’s history is defined by three key stages: the Pioneering Phase, the Foundation Phase, and the Hyper Growth Phase.
OUR MILESTONES
1991
PIONEERING PHASE | 1991-1997
Inauguration of our Marol Facility. In a small factory built with lots of dreams and guts, Mr JC Kumar started the journey.
1992
Securing Our First Order
Received the first order for the Hi Lifts from Ambassador’s Sky Chefs who believed we could deliver world class products.
1997
Landmark Delivery
Delivered India’s first Car Lift at HPCL Bandra. This was delivered to a Gas Station who wanted to use the 1st floor for parking.
2001
FOUNDATION PHASE 2001-2011
We received an order from Sky Gourmet for 9 Hi Lifts in one shot. The need was to deliver them in 12 weeks. Nandan took on the challenge and delivered it in 10 weeks.
2002
International Breakthrough
Exported the FIRST Hi Lift out of India. We received and executed an order to the Maldives for Hi Lift on Ashok Leyland Truck.
2003
Homecoming
Raghunandan Jagdish, son of JC Kumar joined after completing his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. This was a conscious decision by him to come back to India and contribute to nation building.
2003
Export Surge
Received order from Saudi Arabian Airlines for Towable Step ladders. Our exports started in full swing.
2005
Turbhe Factory Inauguration
The establishment of the Turbhe Factory marked a significant expansion in our operational capabilities.
2010
Defense Sector Entry
This strategic move reflected our commitment to contributing to the nation’s security. Our entry into the defense sector signified our capability to meet the stringent standards of defense industry.
2014
Imagica Milestone
A significant achievement in our portfolio, we successfully delivered a complex theme park ride to Adlabs Imagica. This project marked our entry into the entertainment and leisure industry.
