Navi Mumbai SME delivers state-of-the-art Workshop Vans to BrahMos Aerospace in record time!

Nandan GSE, a Navi Mumbai based MSME, recently delivered & commissioned two MIL Grade Workshop Vans to BrahMos Aerospace in record time.

BrahMos Aerospace is a joint venture between the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India and Joint Stock Company “Military Indian Consortium” NPO Mashinostroyenia of Russia. It is responsible for designing, developing & producing the BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile with active participation of a consortium of Indian & Russian industries. The Joint Venture Company has become a role model by integrating public-private industries from India and Russia as a consortium of “Missile Industry Complex”.

The BRAHMOS supersonic missile is a landmark outcome of this Joint Venture. It features several “Made in India” sub-systems, which is a true testimony to the PM’s vision of Make in India. As a support vehicle for this missile launch, the MIL Grade Workshop Van delivered by Nandan GSE is based on a Tata Signa 2823 chassis featuring an ac driver cabin, AMT transmission in addition to a MIL grade AC unit, an on-board Hz generator (20kWh), UPS power backup, a computer centre, and 300+ tools. Each component & placement has been thoughtfully designed to ensure easy reach & operability in any terrain. These workshop vans have also been accepted by the AirForce.
