Challenges

A reputed airline approached Nandan GSE for an aircraft maintenance equipment. They needed an equipment for regular maintenance of their fleet of aircrafts

Customer was concerned about the maintenance work on the aircraft in a safe and smooth way.

They wanted an equipment which is compliant to airport safety standards

The equipment should be able to lift a max load of up to 1 ton & it should be able to reach a height of 8m

It should be sturdy enough so that service personnel can work on the raised platform with maximum safety without failure.

Solutions

Nandan GSE suggested a Truck mounted manlift for their aircraft maintenance issues

Nandan GSE came up with an optimised designed equipment that suitable for lower capacity vehicle models like TATA 407

Max load bearing capacity of 1 ton at a maximum height of 8m

Adequate safety parameters on platform like railings, gates with interlocks, beacon lights, buzzers & hooters.

We have provided electrical sockets on platform for using additional maintenance equipment.

The lifting operation is interlocked with the four stablisers of the equipment

Platform extension of 1.5m forward movement for better reach to aircraft
